A state where half the customers are on their way here
Florida’s economy is built on people arriving: visitors flying into Orlando and Miami, retirees and remote workers relocating, buyers from Latin America doing business through Miami, cargo moving through its seaports. Around them sit rocket launches on the Space Coast, citrus in the middle of the state and the Navy in Jacksonville. A Florida website often speaks to someone who is not in Florida yet.
- Tourism and hospitality
Hotels, vacation rentals, attractions, tour operators and restaurants. Most guests plan from another state or country, so the site has to sell the trip before anyone calls.
- Real estate and construction
Agents, builders, condo associations and property managers in a market where many buyers relocate from the North or from abroad and shop listings from far away.
- Healthcare and senior care
Practices, clinics, home health and senior living for one of the oldest populations in the country. Families often research on behalf of a parent.
- Space and aerospace
Suppliers and engineering firms around Cape Canaveral and the Space Coast that answer to demanding procurement teams.
- Ports, trade and logistics
Freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and exporters working through Miami, Port Everglades, Tampa and Jacksonville, many of them selling to Latin America.
- Finance and professional services
Banks, wealth managers, law firms, accountants and insurance agencies, with fast-growing finance centers in Miami and Tampa.
- Marine and boating
Charters, marinas, boat dealers, yacht services and marine repair. Customers compare photos, prices and availability before they ever reach the dock.
- Agriculture and Florida-grown
Citrus groves, nurseries, cattle and specialty food brands that sell to wholesalers and ship gift boxes across the country.
Four Florida metros, from our base in Boca Raton
Our city pages cover Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville and Miami, the metros where Floridians search most for a web designer. We are based in Boca Raton, between Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, and work the same way with businesses in Naples, Sarasota, Tallahassee, Pensacola and the Keys.

What people type in each Florida city
The searches change from one coast to the other: boats and storms in Tampa Bay, rentals and conventions in Orlando, the port and the bases in Jacksonville, two languages and buyers abroad in Miami.
Tampa Bay mixes finance and insurance offices downtown, hospitals, MacDill Air Force Base and a busy port with beach towns on the other side of the bay. People move in from the Midwest every year, so new residents look for a dentist, a roofer and a gym all in the same month. In January the Gasparilla parade fills bars, boats and hotels, and the search for it starts weeks earlier.

Orlando lives on visitors, conventions and the companies that serve them, from vacation rentals in Kissimmee to event caterers near the convention center. It is also a hub for simulation and training firms and for the medical campus at Lake Nona. Large Puerto Rican and Brazilian communities mean many customers search in Spanish or Portuguese, and a rental that books in three languages fills more nights.

Jacksonville is the largest city by area in the lower 48 states, so “near me” can mean a forty-minute drive. Its economy leans on JAXPORT, distribution centers, banks and insurers, the Mayo Clinic campus and two Navy bases. Military families arrive on orders and need movers, schools and rentals fast, and buyers at the port expect a vendor site that answers technical questions on its own.

Miami works as the business capital of Latin America inside the United States: banks and family offices in Brickell, logistics and exporters in Doral, cruise lines at the port and a design and art scene that peaks around Art Basel in December. Spanish is a working language here, and many buyers compare a Miami vendor from São Paulo, Bogotá or Mexico City before they ever fly in.

Two seasons, several languages and a sky worth watching
A second season in winter
From November to April, seasonal residents from the North fill Naples, Sarasota, Palm Beach and the Gulf towns. Restaurants, clinics, cleaners and golf instructors see a different customer for half the year, someone who compares options from Ohio or Ontario before driving down. A site that says when you open, where you are and how to book wins that search.
English, Spanish, Portuguese and Creole
In Miami Spanish is everyday business, Orlando has large Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking communities, and Haitian Creole is common in South Florida. We build the extra language versions as complete pages with their own titles; your team checks the wording before anything goes live.
Hurricane season rewrites the to-do list
The Atlantic season runs from June 1 to November 30, and one storm in the news changes what a whole coast searches for: shutters, generators, roof repair, mold cleanup, tree removal. Contractors whose pages are live in spring are the ones people find when the cone shows up on TV.
Customers who are not here yet
Tourists plan from home, families relocate after months of research, and companies in Colombia or Brazil choose a Miami partner online. For them the website is the first visit: real photos, prices or ranges, policies in plain words and a way to ask a question from another time zone.
What Florida searches for, month by month
The Florida year starts with parades and taxes, turns to boats and spring break, then heat, humidity and storms through the fall, and ends with art week in Miami. Each rise below is a moment when someone is ready to pay, and the page that answers them has to be online weeks before it.

Based in Boca Raton, on Florida time
GoSocial is a Florida company. We are based in Boca Raton and have built websites since 2016, so our working day is your working day, on Eastern time, and Pensacola and the western Panhandle on Central time are an hour away. Meetings happen by Zoom or Google Meet, the same team plans and builds your site, and your domain, hosting and code are registered to you.
The first step is a 30-minute Blueprint Briefing: what the site needs to bring in, what holds it back today and what the new build would take.
Selling to Floridians, visitors or buyers abroad?
Bring your current site, your store or just the idea. We will tell you plainly what we would change first. See all the ways to talk to us.
Web design in Florida: your questions
Something else on your mind? Book a Blueprint Briefing or choose another way to reach us.
Do you work with businesses outside Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville and Miami?
Yes. Those four metros have their own pages, but we work across the whole state: Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach near our base in Boca Raton, Naples, Fort Myers and Sarasota on the Gulf, Tallahassee and Pensacola in the Panhandle, and the Keys. The process is the same everywhere.
Our customers are mostly tourists. What should the website do differently?
Sell the visit before the trip. Visitors decide from home, often weeks ahead and sometimes in another language, so the site needs real photos, clear prices or ranges, policies, availability and booking that works on a phone. Reviews and directions from the airport or the hotel areas help them choose you over the next listing.
We serve several Florida counties. Do we need a page for each one?
Only for the areas you really cover, and each page has to say something true about that area: the neighborhoods, the jobs you do there, the permits or conditions that are different. Copies that swap the county name do more harm than good, so we plan pages around your real service map.
Should our Florida website be in Spanish or Portuguese too?
It depends on who buys from you. In Miami Spanish is often essential; in Orlando and parts of South Florida Portuguese can matter as well. We build each language as a full version with its own page titles so Google can show it to people searching in that language, and your team reviews the text before it goes live.
How much does a website cost for a Florida business?
We quote every project separately. The number of pages, booking or store features, languages, service areas, content and the support you want after launch all change the price. The Blueprint Briefing gives us enough detail to send a real quote.
When should a Florida contractor have hurricane and summer pages live?
In spring. Google Trends data for Florida from 2021 to 2026 shows AC repair peaking in July, roof repair and mold remediation in August, hurricane searches in September and hurricane shutters in September and October. The official Atlantic season starts on June 1, and a new page needs weeks to be found, so April or May is the time to publish.
Which months matter most for Florida events and visitors?
January for Gasparilla in Tampa, March for spring break, June for boat rentals and fishing charters, and late November into early December for Art Basel in Miami Beach. In Google Trends, interest in each one starts rising several weeks before the event, which is when booking pages, menus and event details should already be up.
Can you help us show up on Google Maps in our part of Florida?
We take care of everything the website controls: a page for each real location and service area, the same business name, address and phone everywhere, local structured data and fast mobile pages. A complete Google Business Profile and a steady flow of reviews do the rest, and Search Console shows which towns and searches bring people in.
